Operation: Piercing the Darkness
Ninety-four percent of those in the nation of Mexico are living out their daily lives without a relationship with Christ. The need to share the gospel is great all over the country, but nowhere is it more pronounced than in what has been described as Mexico’s “Heart of Darkness.”
In this area of Mexico, represented by the black shown on the inset map, less than 2% of the population are followers of Christ. Within this region is the city of Guadalajara, with a population of almost 4 million.
The Mexico Missionary Fellowship has agreed to target this area through weekly prayer and fasting believing that as we prioritize this need, we will see God break through the spiritual barriers that exist in this part of Mexico.
We are also asking that all of those who are burdened to pray for Mexico join with us in this time of focused prayer. The fellowship has agreed to set aside each Friday as the day that we will join together.
