Missionary Associates involved in construction, the Parrs have recently arrived in Mazatlan to work with the Norvells and feel blessed to be a part of what God is doing. Aside from remodeling the building that houses the new church plant, they have helped lead US teams involved in repairing and painting two small churches in Mazatlan during the day while holding children’s services in the evenings.

- Although currently in the states for a six month itineration, they will return briefly in September to finish the Bible School project in Mazatlan.
They ask for prayer for:
- Nick who is still recuperating from a fall sustained earlier this year. His arm continues to bother him with pain and swelling.
- Ruth who is in much pain when she walks. This as a result of an operation last year for a partial hip replacement after falling and breaking the ball of her right hip. Her incision is hot and painful with a hard lump. The doctors are baffled, unsure of the cause.

They ask for prayer for:
- Anointing and strength. This year we are hosting 21 teams and itinerating full time.
- That God would lay our ministry on the hearts of His people to help us raise our budget for the $700 of additional monthly support.

Prayer Focus: The Heart of Darkness
The Heart of Darkness is represented by three Assembly of God districts: El Centro, El Occidente, and El Bahio.
This week our focus is on the third district of the Heart of Darkness: El Bajio. This district’s greatest need is for the strengthening and training of the local pastors.
Please pray for:
- District leadership – wisdom in their planning and oversight of their pastors
- District fellowship – to be a haven of blessing and encouragement as they work together toward the same goal
- Pastors – to be strengthened and trained; to experience God’s presence daily to result in powerful anointing in their work
We invite you to set aside time Friday, June 8th, whether a meal or the entire day, to fast and pray specifically for the Heart of Darkness and the El Bajio District.
Thank you!
