Friends of Mexico,
As the Spirit sweeps over the largest Spanish speaking country in the
world, our desire continues to be that the Lord of the harvest would
enable us to take bold, strategic steps in order to reach this generation
with the message of hope.
From greater Mexico City—the most populous metropolitan center in the
world—to any of the many cities that boast an inhabitancy of over a
million, to fishing villages and mountainside indigenous pueblos, our
goals are consistent: to reach the lost by every possible means, to
partner with the national church in planting autonomous national churches
that will serve as permanent witnesses of the saving grace of Christ, to
train and disciple men, women, boys, and girls on every level, and to
compassionately touch the suffering.
Not only do we partner with the National Council of the Assemblies of God
in Mexico and its local congregations, but we facilitate scores of
ministry teams from churches in the U.S. as well. The plan is
simple—connect U.S. ministry teams with missionaries and national
congregations in order to effectively advance the Kingdom in Mexico. The
Mexican church hopes to establish 1,000 new congregations in the next four
years!
God has given us a wonderful team of missionaries who are involved in a
myriad of projects throughout the nation, which represent ministry
opportunities for you. Please take a few moments to acquaint yourself with
some of these families and the great work they are doing. Most of all, we
hope you will partner with us in prayer for this great country. This is,
indeed, Mexico’s greatest spiritual day. May we take full advantage of it,
and may God richly bless your life.
En Cristo,
Butch Frey
AGWM Area Director, Mexico
